Roasting is our first love. Our goal is to find the purest flavor potential available in the world and bring it into reality. By sourcing premium green coffee beans from organic coffee farms that we know and trust, we bring the aromas of these coffee regions into our homes. As a relatively small roaster, we immerse ourselves in understanding the potential for each bag of beans. Marrying science and art together, we roast to optimize every step in the journey to receiving a certified USDA Organic product.
ORIGINS
Newport Coffee House has always been at the forefront of artisanal small-batch coffee roasting since 1992. Most recently, we’ve pushed our quality to become some of the best the coffee industry can offer. While sourcing beans we focus on ethics, farming practices, and green coffee rating.
By insisting on an 86+ green coffee rating (SCA), fair-trade farming, and organic origins we begin with some of the most select green coffee available. We continue this care by roasting in a USDA Certified Organic facility ensuring the purest and most exciting flavors from each coffee region.
As a growing roaster, we have access to exclusive micro-lots that few other roasters focus on or have the infrastructure to distribute with care. All of these factors make Newport Coffee House one of the most exciting places for uniquely sourced and roasted coffee beans.

USDA Certified Organic
Our roasting facilities have undergone special certifications to achieve this selective designation. This ensures that all the processes from the farm to the roasted bean is controlled and regulated to remove that variables inherent in other products.
Small Batch
We roast all our coffee in small batches to ensure freshness - every detail of the process fine-tuned to highlight the best flavors that each green coffee has the potential to share with our customers. Check your roast dates on each of our whole bean bags!
Fair Trade
Our coffee sourcing is based on traceability, transparency, and agency to ensure a Fair Trade designation. We believe when we build relationships in every step of the supply chain, everyone wins and builds a most sustainable coffee industry.
Single-Origin
Each of our coffee selections come from specific farms that articulate the lot, process, and harvest. We maintain these relationships through our coffee sourcing partner Sustainable Harvest.
WHOLESALE
At Newport Coffee House we believe that coffee enhances the daily experiences and builds community in people’s lives. Whether you are a local business office looking for a coffee provider, a cafe in need of a better brew, or just want to carry our beans to add to your product offering, we have a wholesale option for you. The beans come in 5 lb bags, available for both delivery and pick-up. We also offer services for special events and parties, providing trained baristas and staff, if desired.
To excel in coffee you will need more than good beans. Equipment, procedures, training, and continuous support are all key success factors. We will be able to support you holistically with knowledge and focused training, on site or at our facilities.
